Refurbishment of a electronic circuit board consists of adding/incorporating the latest technology to your old one: It’s an alternative, cost effective solution which should always be considered.
The refurbishment process comprises of the following steps:
The equipment is received
When arriving at our factory, the equipment is identified and a job number is allocated for easy tracking of the item’s history and order status
Data gathering
The appropriate number of components is pulled from our extensive spare parts stores; relevant drawings are sourced (if available) whilst the module’s technical details are loaded into our testing equipment.Software stored in various components is downloaded.
Refurbishment
Using our In Circuit Testing equipment, we identify the fault and replace the damaged component. At this stage, all other components deemed to fail at some point in the future, are replaced with new ones. Any damage in the circuit board or the circuitry is also corrected using advanced repair kits and equipment. The software saved from the old components is restored into the new ones.
Functional testing
A comprehensive quality inspection is performed to ensure the highest standards of workmanship have been achieved. At our customer’s request, a functional test can also be performed.
Shipping
Your module is carefully packaged and shipped.
