- How much does the refurbishing of my card cost?
- We will charge 50% of the manufacturer catalogue price or equivalent (equivalent card, function or manufacturer). Better still: if you have preferential agreement with a supplier/manufacturer and you can show us the price you have purchased the card for, we will offer 50% of your discounted price!
- How long will it take to refurbish the card?
- We WILL refurbish any card, irrespective of the nature and complexity of the fault. This process though, is not always straight forward and may require extensive research and use of sophisticated equipment with time consuming techniques. That’s why we prefer to give our customers a 4 week return time. In the unlikely event that we will require to order a part that has a longer lead time for delivery or we will require a longer repair time, we will inform our customers in a timely manner.
- What happens if I don’t have any documentation about the equipment?
- Although schematics, manufacturer installation and user manuals can significantly contribute to the speed and effectiveness of the refurbishment process, we realise that sometimes, due to the age of the equipment, our customers may not have access to any of the above. In this case, we have a couple of alternative options:
» The customer may provide an identical, in good working order card together with the faulty one. Once we compare the cards, we will return the working card as soon as possible (should we be requested to do so).
» The customer may provide multiple identical faulty cards.
» We will re-manufacture the card to its original characteristics (more time consuming and requiring expert equipment and knowledge - How much warranty do I get for a refurbished card?
- We offer 1 year warranty from the refurbishment date for our workmanship and parts used.
- How do I know that the refurbished card will work?
- The refurbished card goes through a rigorous quality assurance procedure before shipped. In most of the circumstances we will replace the faulty components with functionally identical ones. This will ensure the card will deliver identical performance and functionality. On request (mostly for the military and health sectors, a functional test can also be performed).
